Our Policies and General Information


The majority of our trips are booked with groups; however, most of them will have seats open to the public. We work exclusively with groups, such as senior citizen centers, homemaker clubs, banks, churches, school groups, etc. We also plan educational trips for schools. If you are a member of any group and need assistance in planning a tour or are interested in becoming a group leader, please give us a call.

How To Make A Reservation

A $50.00 deposit will secure your seat on any tour! If the tour you request is filled, then we will place you on a waiting list and as soon as a vacancy occurs, you will be called to confirm you still want to go on that particular trip and at the time you may pay your deposit online or send to us. Please contact us for more information regarding any tour.

Each person making a reservation is responsible for finding their own roommate. When making a reservation you should inform us who your roommate will be. However, if you or Martin Tours are unable to find a suitable roommate, you will be billed for a single rate.

Special Requests

Special requests such as for smoking, non-smoking rooms, side by side rooms, need to be made when booking your tour or at least forty-five (45) days prior to departure. We try to honor all requests, but in some motels and locations, special requests cannot always be honored.


Prices quoted are for double/triple and quad occupancy and include transportation by motorcoach, rooms, luggage handling and admission into all events that do not specify on your own.

Final Payments

Final payments are due forty-five (45) days prior to departure of the trip. Please mark this on your calendar.

In the event of a cancellation, Martin Tours, Inc. will refund in full less a $3.00 handling fee for each cancellation and any non-recoverable expenditures made on behalf of the participant at the time of the cancellation. These costs would be for meals, rooms, tickets, bus, etc. There will be no refunds for cancellations made once the tour departs. Martin Tours does not provide trip insurance. You can purchase trip insurance thru a company of your choice.


We are proud to own 2 brand new state of the art Prevost motor coaches. They are equipped with restroom, air conditioning, reclining seats, PA systems, video monitors and VCR’s, and stereo.

Itinerary Variations

Due to the advance planning of these tours, Martin Tours reserves the right to make changes, or to substitute in order to improve the tour.

Final Tour Information & Documents

Twenty (20) to thirty (30) days prior to departure, you will receive your final tour information, including your pick-up point and time, luggage tags, hotel/motel phone numbers which will be listed on final itinerary.


We are no longer providing luggage handling due to the hotels not being adequately staffed. If you have a specific need that requires luggage handling please contact Martin Tours.

Pickup Points

Following each trip description, we list the city from where the trip originates. Pickup points are subject to change. Also listed is the area of the state through which we can make other pickup points.

Martin Tours – Tour Guides

Each Martin Tours trip is accompanied by an experienced, courteous, knowledgeable tour guide. These guides are members of our staff and are there to assist you in every way. In certain cities, a local guide (step-on) will join the tour to provide detailed information about a particular area.

Tour Cancellations

Each tour in this brochure is priced assuming that we will have a minimum number of people. Approximately forty-five (45) days prior to departure of the trip, if this number has not been reached, Martin Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour. However, Martin Tours will do everything possible for each tour to go.

Proof Of Citizenship

Passports are required to enter Canada or Mexico.

Smoking & Alcoholic Beverage Policy

Due to Federal Regulations, smoking & alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the bus. However, frequent stops are made for the benefit of our friends who do smoke!


Gratuities are not mandatory, but appreciated. Standard daily gratuities for guides and bus drivers are $2-$5 per day. Passengers will have an opportunity to tip the guide and driver at the end of their trip.
